The rules for using the MyLifeUK platform

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the MyLifeUK platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
MyLifeUK is an independent educational preparation platform for the Life in the UK Test. We offer study material, practice tests, simulations and progress tracking tools. We are not affiliated with the UK Government, the Home Office, or any official body responsible for the test.
3. Account and Registration
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. The account is personal and non-transferable. Users under 18 must have a guardian's consent.
4. Subscription and Recurring Billing
Full access to the service is offered via paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorise automatic recurring charges on the registered card, according to the chosen plan (monthly or annual). Charges occur automatically each cycle until you cancel. Each cycle is charged in full at the start of the period. You can cancel at any time in account settings; access remains active until the end of the paid period.
5. Free Trial
When you create a free account, with no credit card required, you can use each tool on the platform up to 3 times (study, practice, mock test, games and questions to the AI tutor). After that, those tools require a paid plan. The VIP area (guides) is sold separately and is not part of the trial. No charges are made during the free trial.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time in account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy for details. Exception: within 14 days of your first payment you can ask for a full refund.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) share your account with third parties; (b) reproduce, redistribute or sell platform content; (c) use automated tools to extract bulk data; (d) attempt to compromise service security. Violations may result in account termination without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
Platform content — including questions, explanations, texts and design — is copyright protected. You may use the material for personal study. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use without authorisation is prohibited. Questions are based on themes from the official handbook but do not reproduce official material.
9. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided 'as is', without guarantees of passing the official test. The study material is independent and does not guarantee specific results. In no event will MyLifeUK be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by email or platform notification. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the United Kingdom.
